All of it is a polyester shell the maker calls quick-dry. In practice that is a walk from the beach to the car. What none of it is: a wetsuit, a rash guard or a compression short. The sun shirts on the next bench cover the top half.
How to pick the size
Swim shorts run true to waist. The board shorts have a drawcord and a flat front rather than an elastic gather, so measure a pair you own across the waistband and compare. The capris run a size smaller in the leg than the sweatpants do.
What it does not do. A quick-dry shell dries, it does not warm. For cold water you need neoprene, and this bench has none.
